DISCLAIMER: IF YOU THINK YOU'RE ONE OF THESE GUYS, THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE YOU ARE

MY WHY

What happened to dating? And I mean real dating, the weekly dinners bought by a man you met at the grocery store or a night on the town with a guy you flirted with at the coffee shop. The multiple dates a week with different bachelors. I'm talking Sex in the City Season 1, single and ready to mingle.

I have learned that my generation doesn't understand that. Meeting a guy at a dirty fraternity party or a club, expecting to be at your beck and hand after sex is unrealistic, and often results in failure and YOUR time being wasted. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Snapchat, Instagram, and men on podcasts have created this horrific thing called "Situationships". Absolutely awful. It's like a tonsil removal; getting worse every time, you can't get rid of it and you experience absolute complete trauma at the end. Even dating apps, they used to be helpful and fun, now you can rarely find a half decent guy, who ACTUALLY wants to date.  A goal of mine is to change the perspective of dating apps as a resource or tool that can easily be used for women who are dating beginners. And if you happen to find Mr. Right, then let's celebrate!

After experiencing a situationship of my own, I quickly learned that this can't be my dating experience. I'm JC and I'm too good for this and I know most women are too. But sadly we weren't taught the real joys of dating. Let's bring it back. As I write on my blog I want women to be inspired by experiences and my journey. The good, the bad, and the ugly. That they too can start with TRUE process of dating in your 20's. Where do we start? Being comfortable with the uncomfortable.
